Description

A fragrant and flavorful masala chai mix perfect for making delicious masala chai at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 grams whole cloves (laung)
  • 25 grams whole green cardamoms (hari elaichi)
  • 25 grams whole cinnamon sticks (dalchini) (crushed)
  • 25 grams whole black peppercorns (kali mirch)
  • 2 grams dried rose petals
  • 15 grams fennel seeds (saunf)
  • 10 grams dry ginger powder (saunth)
  • 1 whole nutmeg (jaiphal) (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a spice grinder, coffee grinder, or food processor.
  2. Grind to make a coarse powder.
  3. Store the masala tea powder in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
  4. Use ½ teaspoon masala chai mix per cup of masala chai.
