Ingredients
Scale
- 32 oz frozen crinkle-cut French fries
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles (optional)
- To taste ketchup and mustard, for drizzling
- To taste fresh parsley or green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to fries’ package instructions (typically 425°F). Bake fries until golden and crisp, about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.

- Drain the excess fat from the beef.
- Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in chopped pickles if using. Remove from heat.
- Transfer baked fries to a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish. Evenly spread the seasoned beef mixture over the fries.
- Top with 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar.
- Lower oven to 375°F and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with ketchup and mustard. Top with remaining cheddar and chopped parsley or green onions. Serve hot.
