Description
Delicious garlic bread boats filled with three types of cheese, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 small baguettes or crusty bread rolls
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat.
- Prepare the Bread: Slice the baguettes in half lengthwise. Hollow out the center of each half to create a boat shape.
- Make the Garlic Butter: In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are blended.
- Assemble the Boats: Brush the inside of each bread boat with the garlic butter mixture. Mix the three types of cheese in a separate bowl. Evenly distribute the cheese mixture inside each bread boat.
- Bake: Place the bread boats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly with a golden brown top.
- Garnish: Remove the boats from the oven and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle additional chopped parsley on top for garnish.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a drizzle of olive oil over the cheese before baking.
- Test different cheese combinations to suit your taste.
- Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping.
