Description
A delicious tart combining fresh cranberries and smooth white chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/8 tsp salt, and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press into a tart pan evenly.
- Bake the crust for 15–18 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup cranberries, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tsp orange zest. Simmer over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens. Cool completely.
- Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream just to a simmer, then pour over 3/4 cup white chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
- Pour white chocolate ganache into the cooled crust. Let set for about 15 minutes in the fridge.
- Gently spoon the cooled cranberry mixture over the ganache layer.
- Chill the tart for at least 2 hours, or until set.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- This tart is best served chilled.
- You can use frozen cranberries if fresh are not available.
