A delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe using microwaved flour for a unique twist.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120 grams)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/2 cup butter (salted or unsalted, softened)
- 2–4 tablespoons milk (more or less as needed)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt (omit if using salted butter)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Microwave the flour in 20-second intervals until it reaches 165°F, about 40-60 seconds, or bake it in a 350°F oven for 3-5 minutes. Let it cool.
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer or large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the cooled flour, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt into the butter mixture until fully combined.
- Gradually add milk one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or spoon.
Notes
- Using salted butter will eliminate the need for added salt.
- Adjust the amount of milk based on desired dough consistency.
