- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or butter for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion in oil until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the broccoli florets and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Fold the sautéed vegetables and shredded cheddar into the egg mixture gently.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
