Description
A delicious jalapeño cheese pizza made with cream cheese and sharp cheddar.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 piece pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup jalapeños (fresh or pickled, sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- to taste tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling)
- to taste fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for your pizza.
- If you’re using a store-bought pizza crust, roll it out onto a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Place it on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried oregano. Blend until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheeses generously over the cream cheese layer.
- Evenly distribute the sliced jalapeños over the cheese, adding more or less as desired.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the toppings and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Once done, remove it from the oven. Let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Slice it up and enjoy.
Notes
- This pizza can be customized with additional toppings like peppers or onions.
- Feel free to adjust the spiciness by using more or less jalapeños.
