Delicious shrimp tacos topped with a fresh cabbage slaw.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 8 small tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice (for slaw)
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp with smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, olive oil, and lime juice. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage with Greek yogurt or sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, hot sauce, and chopped cilantro. Refrigerate while preparing the shrimp.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft.
- Assemble tacos by layering slaw, adding shrimp, and topping with extra cilantro and lime juice. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Can be served with additional lime wedges on the side.
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce based on your spice preference.
