Description

A refreshing frozen fruit smoothie made with kiwis, strawberries, and banana, perfect for a healthy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 kiwi fruits (peeled, sliced, and frozen)
  • 1012 strawberries (hulled, sliced, and frozen)
  • 1 large banana (peeled, sliced, and frozen)
  • ½ cup milk (whole, skim, or plant-based)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons honey (use maple syrup or agave nectar for vegan)

Instructions

  1. Add the kiwis, strawberries, banana, milk, chia seeds, and honey to a high-speed blender.
  2. Note: Thaw the frozen fruits for 10 minutes if they are too hard to blend.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. You might have to push down the ingredients using a large spoon a few times while blending.
  5. Add some milk if the smoothie is thick for your liking. Check for the sweetener and add more if required.
  6. Pour the smoothie into 2 serving glasses.
  7. Garnish with whole fresh strawberries, edible flowers, and mint leaves, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This smoothie is versatile; you can substitute other frozen fruits as per your preference.
  • For a thicker consistency, add more frozen fruits; for a thinner consistency, add more milk.
