Ingredients

- 12 large fresh strawberries
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 24 pieces mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
- small amount white icing or frosting (for hat and buttons)
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Wash the strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Slice the leafy end off each strawberry so they stand upright.
- Make the Whipped Cream:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Use an electric mixer to whip the mixture until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the Santas:
- Cut a small portion off the pointed end of each strawberry (this will be used as the Santa hat).
- Pipe or spoon a small dollop of whipped cream onto the top of each strawberry base.
- Place the reserved strawberry tops back on, leaving a space for the face, to resemble Santa’s hat.
- Decorate the Faces:
- Place two mini chocolate chips on the whipped cream for Santa’s eyes.
- Use a small amount of white icing to add a pom-pom to the top of the hats and buttons down the front.
Notes
- Make sure the whipped cream is cold before starting to ensure the best texture.
- You can add a small red candy or sprinkle a little red edible glitter for a more festive touch on Santa’s hat.
- If prepping in advance, keep the assembled Santas in the refrigerator until serving to maintain freshness and shape.
