  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the overripe bananas using a fork or potato masher until smooth.
  3. Add the granulated sugar to the mashed bananas and mix until fully combined. The mixture should be creamy.
  4. Sprinkle the all-purpose flour and baking soda over the banana-sugar mixture. Gently fold everything together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
