- 1 cup dry quinoa (any color)
- 1 ¾ cups water or vegetable broth
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
- Rinse and drain quinoa in a fine mesh strainer.
- Place quinoa, water, and salt into a medium saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer, cover, and let cook for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat after 15 minutes and let sit covered for about 5 minutes to let it soak up any remaining liquid.
- Remove lid and fluff with a fork, then transfer quinoa to a large bowl to cool.
- Add toppings before serving or use in any recipes that call for cooked quinoa.
