Description
A delicious tower of glazed donuts filled with creamy Oreo filling and topped with white chocolate icing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large plain glazed donuts
- 15 Oreo cookies (crushed)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (for icing)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos:
- Place Oreo cookies in a sealed plastic bag.
- Crush them using a rolling pin until they are crumbly (leave some chunks for texture).
- Prepare the Cream Filling:
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Mix in half of the crushed Oreos.
- Assemble the Donut Tower:
- Slice each donut horizontally into halves.
- Place the bottom half of one donut on your serving plate.
- Spread a generous layer of Oreo cream filling over it.
- Sprinkle some crushed Oreos on top.
- Repeat this process for the remaining donuts, creating layers.
- Prepare the White Chocolate Icing:
- Melt white chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in intervals of 20 seconds and stirring in between.
- Add milk to achieve a pourable consistency.
- Top the Tower:
- Pour the white chocolate icing over the top of the donut tower, letting it drizzle down the sides.
- Decorate with an Oreo cookie on top.
Notes
- Ensure that the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to avoid lumps.
- For a firmer cream filling, refrigerate it for about 15 minutes before spreading on the donuts.
- Use a sharp knife for slicing the donuts to prevent them from squishing.
- Experiment with flavored Oreos for a unique twist.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and taste.
